Southern Container- a freight haul in Connecticut on eighteen wheels, possibly one of the shipping containers FEMA sent to Louisiana and Mississippi in place of demolished homes.
Somebody slapped the label on the side and painted it magic white, but the faint stench of mildew stayed. Maybe a few doom struck families hid inside and jumped out when it crossed neighboring states.
And even now muddy sleeping bags and coat hanger tents rest on the Super dome next to cardboard signs and mud stained photos of those now gone, and no bones rest on Sugar Bowl Drive.
