Introduction
	Heavy Bear journal is dedicated to the freedom and expression of the writers and artist; herein, uncensored and unfettered in their original intention. At Heavy Bear the goal is to maintain the integrity of the poetic voice in its entirety. Enclosed in this collective you will find the renowned  and the underground poet; this is purposeful. Here at Heavy Bear we wish to engage, entertain and display good poetry from around the world. The collection is eclectic and uncompromising. We are proud to have each and the one a part of it! We encourage new poets to submit to HB, please check the submission guidelines page to find out how to do so! Submissions to Heavy Bear will not be reopened until February 15th of 2010. HB4; our Winter edition has already been filled! Heavy Bear has been listed in Duotrope's,we are very proud of this. We are however, predominately word of mouth, so if you like what you see tell everybody you know... we'll love you for it forever! Heavy Bear's publishing editor Jane Crown is also the host of Jane crown's Poetry Radio; a weekly blog talk radio show that streams live each and every Sunday with an American poet interviewing and reading their poetry. This show is global and entirely maintained and done by referral/invite alone.
